Installed Plugins

Plugins are mainly user-contributed add-ons that enhance and extend TWiki features and capabilities. A limited number of plugins are included in the core TWiki distribution - and any those can be removed - while the rest are optional, available from TWiki:Plugins.PluginPackage.

• DateTimePlugin (): Display date and time with formatting options, relative date parameters and localized dates
• EditTablePlugin (4.23, $Rev: 3523 (2009-04-18) $): Edit tables using edit fields, date pickers and drop down boxes
• ExcelImportExportPlugin (Foswiki, $Rev: 0$): Renders an attached Excel spreadsheet as Foswiki table
• FilterPlugin (1.70, $Rev: 1860 (08 Jan 2009) $): Substitute and extract information from content by using regular expressions

• UpdateInfoPlugin (Dakar, 11199): Add a %ISNEW% tag after a WikiWord to get a visual display of whether the linked topic was created or updated recently
• VarCachePlugin (29 Jan 2009, $Rev: 2215 (29 Jan 2009) $): Cache Foswiki macros in selected topics for faster page rendering
• WysiwygPlugin (1.1.1, $Rev: 10578 (2011-01-19) $): Translator framework for WYSIWYG editors

Administrators can enable and disable plugins using configure.
