Side Street Strutters - Wednesday, September 24, 2008 - 7:30 PM
In their Silver Anniversary ’08-’09 season, the Side Street Strutters continue to capture the excitement and spontaneity of America's greatest musical heritage -- JAZZ! This vivacious six-piece band has raised many a roof throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe, featuring the legendary sounds of Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, and Fats Waller. A few dynamic arrangements of popular Big Band tunes adds a little swingin’ spice to their down-home New Orleans repertoire.
Pianafiddle - Tuesday, November 4, 2008 - 7:30 PM
Is it bluegrass? Is it jazz? Is it classical, ragtime, or Celtic? If Pianafiddle is performing, the answer is YES! Starting with only the framework of familiar melody, pianist Lynn Wright and violinist/fiddler Adam
DeGraff? improvise as they go, blending the known and the unknown in gripping performances that make toes tap and hands clap!
Pavlo - Thursday, January 22, 2009 - 7:30 PM
Pavlo is a dynamic composer, guitarist, and singer, who has created a unique style best described as “Mediterranean music.” Mixing the sounds of Greek Bouzouki with Flamenco and Latin influences has proven a winning combination, which Pavlo says was the “natural progression” of combining his Classical and Flamenco training with his passion for Greek and European sounds.
Claremont Trio - Wednesday, February 11, 2009 - 7:30 PM

Twin sisters, Emily Bruskin (violin) and Julia Bruskin (cello) formed the Trio with Donna Kwong (piano) in 1999 at The Juilliard School. They have since won several competitions, including the first Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award; played in prestigious venues, including the American Academy in Rome and the Lincoln Center; as well as in Serbia, Bosnia, and Slovenia as part of a cultural exchange co-sponsored by the U.S. State Department and Carnegie Hall.
