LiveOnStage -- Scheduling Partner

The Grossmont Community Concert Association is not the only Community Concert Association, there are many throughout the nation. Each one is an independent nonprofit organization, but many associations have historically used a common scheduling partner. Originally, this was Columbia Records, and then a company called Trawick. In the 2002/2003 season, Trawick had financial difficulties which were unrelated to the Community Concerts but seriously impacted the payment of the artists and the associations. In the 2003/2004 season, GCCA paid the artists directly. The 2004/2005 season will start a complete break from Trawick and the use of another group, LiveOnStage. It turns out that many of the same personnel moved from Trawick to LiveOnStage, and the support given to our association is about the same but for less cost, which is good.
