Primary Tasks and Completion times for this Committee

• This committee is appointed by the President
• Nominate new board members and propose roster of officers.
• Must complete nominations prior to last meeting prior to the dinner.
• Shoot for completion in January.

• Nomination Guidelines (from Bylaws)
  • Officers must have been members of the association for at least two years. All may be reelected after a 2 year period. Two members of a household may not simultaneously be officers.
    • President (2 year maximum)
    • First Vice President (2 year maximum)
    • Second Vice President (2 year maximum)
    • Secretary (3 year maximum)
    • Treasurer (3 year maximum)
    • Parlimentarian (appointed by President)
  • Board Members
    • At least 25 Board Members, not more than 35 members.
    • Serve not more than 3 years. May be reelected after a one year period.
  • Committee Chairs may be appointed the the President for their skills and do not have limit to term, and they are in addition to the members of the Board.

• For 2006:
  • Total committee was 32 Total.
  • A Total of 24 are continuing.
  • Six members whose term is expiring.
    • Bob Letson was appointed and thus his resignation not included in the above total.
      • Would be good to get one or two more computer-literate people who could help here.
    • I think Dick Stowers' term was supposed to expire in 2005.

  • Six Appointments don't have a vote but can still be active.
    • Ken Hanson has expressed an interest in letting someone else do the Patron Plan work.
  • Need at least ONE new member and not more than 11. I would suggest replacing the six that are expiring.
  • Need a new Executive Committee, President, 1 & 2 VP.
    • Perhaps Pat Parlin or Dick Stowers for Pres?

• For 2005:
  • Total committee was 32 total.
  • A total of 18 directors will be continuing.
  • 5 members whose term is expiring.
  • 2 resignations
  • 9 appointees (do not count in board total)
  • NEED at least 7 but not more than 17 new board members.
    • I would suggest we get at least 10 new board members.
    • Suggestions:
      • my wife Jill Lutz, can come back.
      • Any board member that has had a one-year hiatus can return.
  • Officers:
    • I don't think any changes are necessary this year.
