SusanEganColorPhoto.jpg

If ever an entertainer had a boundless source of energy and pure talent, it’s Susan Egan. She became a Broadway star when she originated the role of “Belle” in Beauty and the Beast, earning a Tony nomination and two Drama Desk nominations for Best Actress. Since then, she has broken the ingénue mold and showcased her grittier chops in acclaimed Broadway performances of “Sally Bowles” in Cabaret and “Princess Leonide” in Triumph of Love, proving herself a solid singer and actress with a wide range of emotion. Other stage work includes a co-starring role alongside legend Carol Burnett in Putting It Together, and a national tour with Tommy Tune of Bye Bye Birdie.

Susan’s voice has been heard around the world in animated features, including “Meg” in Hercules and “Angel” in Lady and the Tramp II, as well as “Lin” in the Japanese film, Spirited Away, which won the 2003 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. And, as if all that isn’t enough, television and films have embraced her as well, including television roles on Nikki, NYPD Blue, and All My Children, and feature film roles including the current film, 13 Going on 30. Susan Egan is one busy lady, and from the moment she steps on stage, it’s easy to see why.

This Broadway singing star is a high-voltage performer who dominates a stage with a galvanizing presence. [Her concert] is like an all night conversation with your best friend.
