Membership Details

Our organization is based on memberships that include seats for all concerts of the season. By pre-selling our seats, we are able to contract with top performers and guarantee a full-house without the promotional overhead (i.e. $$) that would be required if we sold our performances on an individual basis. You get a great lineup of performances for the lowest cost, a great cultural value!

For the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons we offered seats for the bargain price of $60.00 for six performances. (Note there was an additional $5 fee if you did not meet the early-bird deadline of June 30) The 2010-2011 prices will be $119 ($125 after June 30). This doubling of the price is a result of the closure of the East County Performing Arts Center. Every effort was made to find a large theater to accommodate our membership which is 1162 for the 2009-2010 season, however, no suitable facility was found in our area. In 2010-2011 concerts will be held at the Joan Kroc Theater in La Mesa, a very nice and modern facility with excellent parking. It seats 580 people, which means each artist or group will perform on two consecutive nights, resulting in a very significant increase in cost to our members.

We do not attempt to assign seating, but allow open seating for each concert. Our membership campaign starts after the first of the year. The number of memberships available is limited by the size of the auditorium. Membership sales continue until sold out, usually in late summer.
