The Music Scholarship Council - GCCA

The Music Scholarship Council - GCCA was formerly known as "Women's Committee of the Grossmont Community Concert Association”. It is a separate organization and is not part of Grossmont Community Concert Association. Over the years, this organization has had a significant impact on the cultural status of East County San Diego, and continues to do so.

Here are some of the high-points of their history:

• Helped to envision and encourage construction of the East County Performing Arts Center ECPAC where we hold our concerts.
• Purchased a Steinway concert grand piano which was gifted to ECPAC.
• Continue to run a scholarship program, which reviews local talent and awards annual scholarships in both voice and instrumental categories.

Grossmont Community Concert Association has been a donor to their scholarship program in the instrumental category.
